KMB Consulting is growing and due to this exciting expansion, we are looking for an experienced full-time Head of Technology to join our incredible team! KMB is a customer-centric consulting firm that solves business challenges through data-led solutions. We are driven by the future-state goals of our clients and work hard to deliver measurable business value in this fast-paced and ever-changing digital landscape.

As Head of Technology, you will oversee our clients’ infrastructure of technical operations; both current and future-state. You will understand what our clients’ needs and goals are and translate those business requirements into technical requirements. You will work with our clients and vendors to design the projects and roadmaps and provide visionary leadership for KMB’s technology team in order to meet our client’s business objectives.

As Head of Technology, you will oversee a multi-million-dollar tech stack through management of many third-party touchpoints. You must understand how all systems work in conjunction with each other and have the ability to manage all moving parts, both systems and people, in order to ensure our clients’ business-critical objectives are met and systems are operating smoothly.

Our perfect candidate has experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining a multi-application technology stack. They will have familiarity with tools such as Salesforce/Sales Cloud, Salesforce Experience Cloud, Conga, Marketo, AWS, and Boomi. The ideal candidate has an interest in technology and a background with compliance, customer service, security, and people. They have an understanding of technology and experience building teams. They are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have strong leadership and management skills. This individual will have excellent interpersonal skills, creative problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and a high degree of emotional intelligence. The ideal candidate will have experience directing and managing a team as well as a technology stack on behalf of clients. This individual will be strategic thinking, collaborative, dynamic, and an excellent business partner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage various timelines, vendors, stakeholders, and teams to meet critical milestones with care and attention to detail
  • Manage project requirements and scope, and facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration to overcome obstacles and find solutions
  • Work with the Head of Technology, external partners, clients, vendors, and your team to integrate and align work paths to meet combined timelines and execute projects
  • Responsible for documentation and sign-off of requirements to spec (as required)
  • Monitor and track the progress of the project, evaluate the performance of the project, and analyze deliverables against requirements
  • Execute QA and perform tests
  • Be a problem-solver that can think fast on your feet and adjust to change with ease
  • Look for ways to find turn-key and repetitive delivery methods, that can save time and energy in the future
  • Abide by and advocate for controls and processes that are required in a highly regulated environment
  • Conduct regular meetings, planning sessions and regroups, review and manage requirements to delivery
  • Produce status reports and raise up concerns/risks before they become issues
  • Evaluate and assess the results of projects

We are looking for a Project Manager.

As Project Manager, you will organize and manage the delivery of various projects across the KMB portfolio, including program launches, technology builds, website launches, and email campaigns. Reporting to the Head of Technology, your top priority is to build strong and trusted relationships with our partners while delivering high quality output, on time and on budget. You will take on new projects, create timelines and sprint plans, manage calendars and the day-to-day operations, and execute deliverables on time. Your attention to detail and dedication to the schedule will ensure projects are delivered as required, while your desire to love what you do will ensure your teammates and collaborators will enjoy getting across the finish-line with you.

Our perfect candidate has 3+ years’ experience with managing multiple vendors and partners across multiple projects. This individual has excellent communication, and facilitation skills, advanced interpersonal and collaboration skills, and great planning and organization skills. They are tech-curious and interested in progressing their career in the tech industry. They are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have strong leadership and management skills. They will love critical thinking and have digital and data literacy. They have the proven ability to meet deadlines and work under time pressures, often with changing timelines. This individual will have creative problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, and excellent conflict resolution skills. They are a fast learner who can pick things up quickly and manage competing priorities. We are looking for someone proficient in the Microsoft Suite, with experience working on a Mac and working with a Project Management software. Our perfect candidate is emotionally intelligent, ambitious and eager to develop professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction for technical assessment, definition, prioritization, architecture, design and deployment of our clients’ new products and services
  • Work in partnership with business functions to build a roadmap that will support growth
  • Work with architects, developers, system administrators, and system users to create a technical strategy
  • Understand what the clients want and use your knowledge of your teams and systems to deliver plans, timelines, and solutions
  • Manage teams and projects in a complex, highly regulated technical environment with many constraints
  • Analyze various technical solutions and make recommendations based on technical and financial merits
  • Identify and execute business process improvements related to technical applications, systems and client implementations
  • Motivate your teams and deploy people to achieve our clients’ goals
  • Negotiate and manage vendor relationships to develop new ideas and promote existing relationships
  • Identify opportunities for appropriate and cost-effective investment in information systems
  • Lead quality assurance and perform risk management
